Refund policy
At Meghambara, every garment is crafted with the utmost care, attention, and quality control. Customer trust and satisfaction are at the core of our brand values. In the event of any issue with your order, we follow a clear, professional, and compliant return, exchange, and refund process.
All policies are formulated in accordance with the Digital Commerce Operation Guideline 2021 issued by the Government of Bangladesh.
1. Exchange Policy (Applicable for Size Issues Only)
Meghambara offers exchange services solely for size-related concerns.
Conditions for Exchange:
- You must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product via WhatsApp (+8801710912555) or Email (hello@meghambara.shop).
- Once approved, the product must be shipped back within 3 business days.
- The item must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in pristine condition.
- All original tags, packaging, and invoice/receipt must be included.
- For size exchanges, customers are responsible for both the return shipping cost and the new delivery charge.
- After receiving the item, our team will conduct a quality check and dispatch the correct size within 7 business days.
- Products purchased during sales, promotions, or discounts are not eligible for exchange.
2. Return Policy (For Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items)
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, Meghambara will take full responsibility.
Conditions for Return:
- Please send us photos or a complete unboxing video within 24 hours of delivery.
- Your complaint will be reviewed and resolved within 72 hours, as per government guidelines.
- If your claim is approved, we will arrange pickup from your address at our own expense.
- Based on your preference, we will either:
✔ Replace the product, or
✔ Issue a full refund.
3. Customized Products
Customized or made-to-measure products are not eligible for return or exchange.
However, if the customized item is defective or does not match the measurements you provided, the procedure described in Section 2 will apply, and Meghambara will take full responsibility.
4. Refund Policy
A refund will be issued only under the following circumstances:
- The product delivered was damaged, defective, or incorrect, and the customer opts for a refund instead of a replacement.
- Meghambara is unable to fulfill the order due to unforeseen circumstances.
Refund Timeline:
- Once approved, refunds will be processed within a maximum of 10 business days, in compliance with the Digital Commerce Guideline.
Refund Method:
- Refunds will be credited to the original method of payment (Debit/Credit Card, Mobile Financial Services, etc.).
- No additional fees or deductions will be applied.
5. Shopify Compliance (Return Window & Shipping Cost)
- Official return window: 2 days from the date of delivery.
- Return shipping costs must be borne by the customer, except in cases of damaged, defective, or incorrect items (in such cases, Meghambara will cover the cost).
